Home & Aged Care Home Visits

Types of Off-Site Services

Our Practice offers these off-site services:

  • Home Visits - Daytime
  • Home Visits - After hours
  • Aged Care Visits

If you are disabled or your condition prevents you from attending our practice, you may be eligible for a Home Visit.

Home visit eligibility includes parameters that include the severity of your condition, your ability to travel and your location.

All home visits will be charged privately. However, at the doctor’s discretion, they may be bulk-billed if the patient fulfils all of the following criteria:

  • Health care card;
  • Is housebound;
  • And the visit is deemed medically necessary

If you believe you require a home visit appointment, please call our reception team and they will discuss your situation with your treating doctor.

After hours home visits are attended to by the National Home Doctor Service. National Home Doctor Service has a team of GPs who conduct in-home consultations.

Please let the visiting after-hours GP know who your regular doctor is, so they are sent a letter with a record of the consultation.

To arrange an after-hours visit by the National Home Doctor Service, call 13 SICK (13 7425) or visit the National Home Doctor Service website.
