  • AFTER-HOURS

    In the event of a medical emergency, please phone 000. When the surgery is closed, patient care is provided by the National Home Doctor Service.


    Please phone 137425 after 6:00pm on weekdays, after 12 noon on Saturday and all day Sunday and Public Holidays.

  • FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS/RESULTS

    Please make a follow up appointment with your doctor to discuss any results as we do not give results over the phone.

  • PRESCRIPTION RENEWALS

    Please make an appointment with your doctor to renew any prescriptions as we do not do renewals over the phone. This practice does not supply benzodiazepines, Valium or other restricted drugs to new patients.

  • TELEPHONE CALLS TO DOCTORS

    Most health issues are best dealt with during a consultation.  Our doctors do not usually take direct phone calls. For urgent matters, please contact reception.

  • EMAIL POLICY

    Communication with patients via electronic means is conducted with appropriate regard to privacy. Email is not a preferred method of communication due to the risks associated with personal information being intercepted by a third party.

  • REMINDERS

    We may send you reminders regarding health services appropriate to your care. Please advise us if you prefer to opt out of this service.

  • HOME VISITS

    Home visits may be arranged for regular patients at the treating doctor's discretion.

  • INTERPRETER SERVICE

    Should you require the services of an interpreter during a consultation, please tell the receptionist when making the appointment for you or your family member or phone 1300 131 450 for a telephone translator service.

  • COMPLAINTS

    We are always open to improving our services and will respond to any complaints or suggestions as soon as possible. If you are unhappy at any time, please speak to your doctor, the practice manager or send to us in writing or via email reception@harmonyhealthmedical.com.au.
